Distribution SolutionsIn 2004, Sinotel was appointed by LG as the exclusive national distributor for selected high-end LG brand of mobile phones in the PRC. Through a series of successful marketing campaigns, the Group was able to expand its distribution business to over 90 provincial dealers including China Unicom’s retail outlets in seven provinces by the end of 2006. However, a strategic decision to scale down this business was made in 2007 as 2G (Second Generation) mobile phones began to phase out in anticipation of 3G’s arrival.
3G Internet PC Card

The Group has since turned its attention on developing and distributing the 3G Internet PC card in collaboration with China Unicom. Sinotel is one of the industry pioneers to have developed and marketed the PC card in the PRC that enables users to connect to the internet using the new 3G platform. The card was developed using our proprietary 3G CDMA EV(DO) technology and can be integrated into other wireless mobile devices such as Point-of-Sales (POS), PDAs and laptops for high speed wireless internet access.
